This work is a reminder that we are one more animal species among others living in this planet, we are anyway all together and our needs are not at all so different. We might come from different lands, traditions, we might look different, speak a different language, but we people are exactly the same human species.

Choreographer’s style of working
The very basics of this work is to get back into the body. Our body is nature, so we get back deeply in to this simple fact, this is what UNITES US and not only among human beings but with everything else, only through getting back in the body, and recognizing ourselves as nature, we can really integrate love, respect and compassion as the only way to survive and safe our planet! This is the root that society is completely missing and make us and easy victim of media and political manipulation.
Dance as an art form has been since the beginning of humanity the main way to understand everything that IS. In ancient times native people got moving rhythmically to find understanding and solution about what they need, like calling answers and wisdom by dancing. Then dancing was also the method for integrating and expressing the found answers and finally the way of expressing thankfulness and celebrating the happiness of finding solutions. We are basically the same kind of animals/humans that live in old times, we have in our bodies this necessity of moving, getting connected and be authentic.
As you have sense my work has strong influences from Natural wisdom / Shamanism, this have been for me a way of life since I was a little girl, but when I move out from my country around 19 years ago I did have a period of un-connection, which was really hard and make me re-understand and recognized all this thing again also help me to get clearness about how this all can be part of my practice/work/life.
Koreografi GABRIELA ALDANA – KEKONI
Koreografi Gabriela Aldana-Kekoni lähti kotimaastansa Chilestä 19 vuotta sitten, josta 16 vuotta hän on asunut Suomessa. Hän on työskennellyt tanssitaiteilijana Chilessä, Argentinassa, Ranskassa, Belgiassa, Hollannissa, Sveitsissä, Tsekissä ja Suomessa. Hän on valmistunut maisteriksi Santiagon yliopistosta sekä tanssinopettajana ja kehoterapeuttina. Hän kantaa kehossansa alkuperäiskansan verta ja sekä mielessään että sydämessään lapsuudesta saakka saatuja opetuksia luonnon viisaudesta, jotka periytyvät oman perheen jäseniltä ja muilta opettajilta. Myös Suomessa hän on opiskellut shamaanien Susanna Aarnio ja Johannes Setälän johdolla Suomalaisen shamaanismin keskuksessa Nuuksiossa vuodesta 2012.
Koreograf Gabriela Aldana-Kekoni flyttade för 18 år sedan från sitt hemland Chile. Hon är utbildad dansmagister, danslärare och kroppsterapeut vid The University of Santiago. Gabriela har jobbat som danskonstnär i Chile, Argentina, Frankrike, Belgien, Holland, Schweiz, Tjeckien och Finland. I Finland har hon bott i 15 år. Gabriela, som har ursprungsfolkets blod i sina ådror, har burit med sig de lärdomar om naturens visdom hon fått som barn.
För tillfället studerar hon vid det finländska shamanscentret The Center For Finno-Ugric And Arctic Shamanism under ledning av de bästa shamanerna i Finland – Susanna Aarnio och Johannes Setälä.
Poly Rodriquez, Chile
Poly is a chilean contemporary dancer, teacher and somatic researcher. She is currently developing her artistic interests by crossing over her experiences as contemporary dancer (including dance techniques, somatic practises and performing arts) in the fields of interpretation, creation and university teaching. As a dancer / performer she has worked with choreographers like MorandOsorio, Gabriela Aldana – Kekoni, Georgia del Campos, Julie Nioche, TorresRojas, among others.
Poly Rodriquez
Poly on chileläinen nykytanssija, tanssinopettaja ja somatiikan tutkija. Hän kehittää parhaillaan taiteellista suuntaansa yhdistämällä kokemuksensa nykytanssin tulkinnassa, luomistyössä ja yliopisto-opetuksessa (tanssitekniikka, somaattiikka ja esittävä taide). Tanssijana hän on työskennellyt mm. koreografien Morand Osorio, Gabriela Aldana – Kekoni, Georgia del Campos, Julie Nioche sekä Torres Rojasin kanssa.
Poly Rodriquez
Poly Rodriquez är dansare inom modern dans, lärare och somatisk forskare från Chile. Han håller som bäst på och utvecklar sätt att korsa erfarenheter som modern dansare (dansteknik, somatiska övningar och scenkonst) med tolkning, kreativitet och universitetsutbildning och de erfarenheter han fått från praktiserande på fältet. Som dansare har han jobbat med koreografer som Morand Osorio, Georgia del Campos, Julie Nioche, Torres Rojas och Gabriela Aldana-Kekoni.
Leslie Apablaza Schmidt, Chile
Chilean contemporary dancer, graduated and entitled in School Dance Education in University ARCIS. She has served as a teacher in the research area, body therapies and contemporary dance technique (release and flying low). As a dancer / performer has worked with leading choreographers as Nuri Gutes, Mabel Olea, Lorena Hurtado, Lemi Ponifasio and Gabriela Aldana-Kekoni, among others.
Leslie Apablaza Schmidt
Leslie on valmistunut tanssin koulutusohjelmasta ARCIS:in yliopistosta. Leslie on chileläinen nykytanssija, joka toiminut opettajana kehoterapian sekä nykytanssitekniikan tutkimuksen parissa (release ja flying low). Tanssijana ja esiintyjänä hän on työskennellyt johtavien koreografien kuten Nuri Gutes, Mabel Olea, Lorena Hurtado, Lemi Ponifasio ja Gabriela Aldana – Kekonin kanssa.
Leslie Apablaza Schmidt
Leslie Apablaza Schmidt är en chilensk dansare inom modern dans. Hon är utbildad på danslinjen vid University ARCIS och har jobbat som lärare och forskare i kroppsterapi och med modern dans. Som dansare har Leslie jobbat med koreografer som Nuri Gutes, Mabel Olea, Lorena Hurtado, Lemi Ponifasio och Gabriela Aldana-Kekoni.
Riina Huhtanen, Finland
Riina Huhtanen has been working as a dancer with various choreographers in Finland and abroad since her graduation from ArteZ Dansacademie in Arnhem, Holland in 2002.
As a choreographer she has mainly worked with actors in different theatre productions. At the moment she is living in Brussels and works with Brussels-based american choregrapher Bud Blumenthal in his company Cie Hybrid.
Riina Huhtanen
Riina Huhtanen on työskennellyt tanssijana eri koreografien kanssa, sekä toiminut koreografina erilaisissa teatterituotannoissa niin Suomessa kuin ulkomailla. Hän valmistui vuonna 2002 ArtEZ:n Tanssiakatemiasta Arnhemissa, Hollannissa. Tällä hetkellä Riina asuu Brysselissä ja työskentelee amerikkalaisen koreografin Bud Blumenthalin Cie Hybrid ryhmässä.
Riina Huhtanen
Riina Huhtanen har jobbat som dansare med de flesta koreografer i Finland och utomlands. Hon blev färdig som dansare år 2002 från ArteZ Dansacademie i Arnhem i Holland. Riina har även själv varit koreograf för skådepelare i olika teaterproduktioner. Idag bor hon i Bryssel och är med i den amerikanska koreografen Bud Blumenthals danskompani Cie Hybrid.
