Since 2005, Le Petit Festival du Théâtre in Dubrovnik has welcomed artists, performers, scientists and creative thinkers from around the world. Every summer, the historic streets, palaces and hidden courtyards of Dubrovnik become living stages where theatre, dance, music, visual arts and inspiring conversations come together.

About the Founder
Mario Vinko Prizmić is a Croatian artist, writer, festival creator and cultural visionary. Many people also know him simply as The Storyteller. His artistic world combines theatre, literature, performance art, philosophy and a joyful curiosity about life.
Beyond the festival, Vinko is the creator of the long-running Happy Funeral art project. For many years, he has travelled across Europe and far beyond in his beloved mini-van. His most loyal travelling companion is Nora, a life-sized doll who joins him on every adventure. Together, they have become familiar faces wherever the road leads.
Love is a recurring theme in his writing and performances. His stories celebrate friendship, imagination and the beauty of everyday encounters. At the same time, he enjoys exploring life’s biggest questions. That curiosity has inspired him to invite researchers, philosophers and metaphysics scholars to Le Petit Festival, where science and art meet in unexpected ways.
Although Dubrovnik is home, the world is his neighbourhood. Over the years, he has built friendships with artists on every continent. Every winter, he spends several months in the Philippines, where he reconnects with friends, discovers new stories and gathers inspiration for future festivals.
For Vinko, Le Petit Festival has never been only about performances. It is about people. Every conversation can become a story. Every stranger can become a friend. Every festival is another chapter in a journey that continues with the simple belief that art brings people together.
